WORK EXPERIENCE:

2005 to present - Art Specialist & Coordinator in a Primary school (part time)

July 2009 - Artist in Residence for a week in a school in the New Forest

May 2009 - Led a one day Textile workshop for A Level Art students in a Sixth Form College in Blackpool

1992-2005 - Teaching in a Primary school (four of those years as a Deputy Head)

During1987-2001 - I ran several weekend workshops for Embroiderers’ Guild      members on the Isle of Wight.

I have run after school workshops in art, textiles, basketry and weaving.

May - July 2009 - 21st Century Stitchers (Exhibition organised by the Embroiderers’ Guild), Riverside Gallery, Richmond

May 2010 - School commission for a 5m x 1m hanging using recycled materials. involving the whole school community to work on it.

Nov 2008 - Private commission for a large (2.5 x 1m) hanging using recycled & found materials.
